What are the Ways to Learn Spanish?

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

To me, I find that I have various ways to learn Spanish. Spanish is one of the easier languages to learn. It is such a beautiful language that more people should learn this language. It is easy and there is so much to gain.

Books As A Way To Learn Spanish

There are many different books that are sold to help you learn to learn Spanish. Books are advantageous in that you can take them with you almost anywhere, but there are drawbacks to this method of learning as well. Books do not offer pronunciations that you can hear and it is hard to be motivated to learn a language when you are only able to read it and not hear it. You may also get the wrong pronunciation.

Online Way To Learn Spanish

By far, I think the online method is the best and most convenient way to learn Spanish. By taking online courses, you can learn the language from the comfort of their own home and any time that they choose. You only need your home computer and internet connection with you. A drawback of learning online is that online courses can be expensive as well, and many people do not want to spend so much money on online Spanish lessons. But you save on having to go for classes.

Traditional Classes Way To Learn Spanish

Another way that many people use to learn Spanish is by taking traditional classes. Many colleges offer Spanish classes so people can learn the language with ease. While learning in a college class may be a great way to learn the language, there are definite disadvantages to this method. The classes do not work around your schedule and you may have to make sacrifices to fit them into your timetable. For those people who have full time jobs, this can be quite difficult and may prove costly too in time.

Audio Programs As a Way To Learn Spanish

One of the very best ways to learn Spanish is by using an audio program. Audio books and programs are so flexible to use and allow you to take them with you anywhere you go. All you need is your portable CD player or even your iPod and you have all that it takes to get you started to learn Spanish, Audio books and programs are flexible and easy to take anywhere besides being reasonable in cost. For as little as $20 to start with, you can have a great audio program that you can use over and over again and at any time you need to. These programs allow you to hear the words so you get the proper pronunciation and enable you to learn practical Spanish correctly and quickly.

For me, I found that the best way to learn Spanish is by Audio Books or learning online. Learning through books is impossible. I spent 6 years and never got anywhere until I started an online program in which I was able to start easy conversation with 2 weeks. I hate to attend classes too as I can never find the right time to attend. I paid for a course which I gave up after a few lessons as it was too inconvenient.
